MORTON, June 12 (Special) - Miss June Jones and Loyce Igo exchanged wedding vows in a double ring ceremony read by Rev. W. C. Wright Saturday, June 5, at Morton First Baptist Church as the couple stood before an arch of pink cluster roses arranged against a background of greenery and highlighted with baskets of pink gladioli and candelbra holding white tapers.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Jones and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Jones and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Igo, all of Morton.
Mrs. Sam Allen of Plainview played the wedding music and accompanied her husband as he sang "O Perfect Love," "Always" and "Because."
Roommate Is Attendant
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore white pique suit styled with a short fitted jacket and Ballerina skirt; a white picture hat, white accessories and a gardenia corsage. Miss Juanita Corley of Brownfield, former roommate of the bride and maid of honor, wore a pale blue dres designed similar to the bride's, a picture hat, brown accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. J. L. Merrill and Vern Roberts were ushers and lighted the candles and Winston Jerden was best man.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hill and three-tiered wedding cake, surrounded with spring flowers and centering the lace-laid bride's table, was served with punch.
Mrs. Igo is a graduate of Wayland Baptist college, Plainview, and Mr. Igo attended Eastern New Mexico college, Portales.
When the couple left for a wedding trip, the bride wore an aqua linen suit with brown and white accessories and a gardenia corsage.
