County Line was located in the northeast corner of Cochran County on FM 597.
The community began in March 1935 when the Union Sunday School was established. The County Line Baptist Church was officially organized on April 22, 1945 and a church building was erected immediately afterwards. A gin and store were later erected near the church.
The community began to decline when the church ceased to operate.
